A young couple recently asked me to make a seating / storage unit to fit into their new extension build.
The space was limited and they wanted to make the most of the space which was to become a dining area. They had a dining table which took up the centre space of the room and wanted a seating space which fitted into the corner but also provided useful storage.
After discussing at length their design ideas, we agreed on an oak finished build with soft close pull out drawers and a cupboard space which made use of the ‘dead’ space in the corner of the room.
As you can see from the following pictures, following some careful design, I was able to build and install a unit which provides a good amount of seating area around their table as well as useful storage.

If you have a space that desperately needs better use or perhaps a cupboard that needs some better organisation, Contact Me to discuss how we can make your house work harder.
